Bruno Finance Society was founded in 2021 by a group of students with a passion for finance and with the goal of strengthening Brown University's professional development scene. The founding members aimed to reconcile the mismatch between the number of high-achieving students at Brown with the opportunities available to them through traditional recruitment.

The Mission
Today, we share a mission to supplement the liberal arts curriculum at Brown with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Sales & Trading, and other areas of financial services. Our members are a select group of students — a 'cohort' — chosen for their academic and extracurricular achievements in addition to their demonstrated interest in the financial services industry. Our sophomore and freshmen cohorts prepare our members with a rigorous curriculum and weekly workshops that allow them to meet their ambitious goals. Ultimately, we hope to solidify Brown's image as a feeder of talent and increase Brown's representation across Wall Street and beyond.
